Superhero Party Ideas

If you or your child can’t resist wearing a cape, zooming around your home, and talking about saving the world from imminent danger, it’s time to throw a Superhero Party. A Superhero Party allows children and adults to pretend they are invincible.
In your invitation, let your potential guests know it’s a super hero costume party. They can invent their own superhero or dress as well-known super heroes. Older guests may be inclined to become characters like Superwoman, Supergirl, Superman, and Aquaman. Younger guests may be more familiar with Batman, Robin, the Incredibles, Spiderman, and the Hulk.
When your guests arrive, you can have a Superhero Challenge, so guests can display their super powers. Place a gift in a box before the party begins. During the party, see who can use x-ray vision to see (guess) what’s in the box. Another challenge could be a Powerful Breath challenge. Give the superheroes straws and see who can blow a bean the farthest. Of course, you can have a race to see which superhero is the fastest runner, walker, reader, or speaker. Another challenge would be to see who has the greatest sense of hearing. Go in another room and make a sound. Challenge the superheroes to tell you what made the noise. Have fun with these challenges. The challenges should be silly and not truly competitive at all.
When planning a Superhero Party, refer to cartoons, comic books, and movies for inspiration. You’ll have as much fun planning this party as the guests will have attending it.
